This first order was from one of my dear friends from my college days. She got a hat and beard for her husband and then a cute cluster stitch hat as well. When we were down visiting over the holidays our friends came over to visit and he was wearing his hat and beard! And it actually came in handy that evening because we were outside playing ice croquet.
This next order was a really fun one because I got to do something I had never done before. A fellow church member brought me a pair of Skull Candy headphones and wanted me to crochet a cover for them and then add cat ears. It was her daughters Christmas present. It was really fun. I loved watching it come together.
This bear hat was ordered by another college friend who just had her 2nd girl! I made a shell stitch headband and threw it in the package for a little congratulations present. It’s a good thing that my friends are having girls so I can still make cute girly things.
This hat was a custom order from a really good friend as well. She saw a fox hat online and really wanted one for her youngest. Her youngest is the same age as my oldest so I got to use him as a model and I’m really tempted to make another one for him. The little fox is darling! I can’t wait to see pictures of her boy in this hat.
This last order was from a previous customer who ordered two old school football helmets. Apparently she was pleased with the product because she ordered 3 more! I have really enjoyed making the different team hats. She also got two newborn sized St. Patty’s Day hats, so I know there will at least be two adorable Leprechauns out there come March.
This last picture wasn’t an order, but it was a hat I made for my sister-in-law for Christmas. She has this thing for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles right now, and Michelangelo is her favorite. She wore it around all Christmas. I’m so upset with myself that I didn’t grab a picture of her wearing it. She has gorgeous red hair and she looked amazing in this hat. I’ll have to try and get her to send a pic for me.
