I wanted to share some of the hats I have recently made. The first is called the Diamond Ridges hat.
I found this pattern on Ravelry and started to attempt it last year, but got confused so I put it aside. I came back to it just recently and conquered the pattern. Once I made sense of what it was saying it was no sweat. I believe there are videos on youtube helping to explain some of the rounds when it gets a little confusing.
The next hat is just a simple beanie with an alternating pattern of 4 rounds of single crochet and then a round of double crochet.
Neapolitan Beanie in dark gray, white and yellow
This is the “checkerboard beanie” in red, but instead of using the checkerboard stitch I used a shell stitch. I like how it turned out a lot more than with the checkerboard. I might need a new name for this hat…
A cluster stitch hat in yellow and white
And a teddy bear hat with a puff stitch flower and pink stripes at the bottom.
All of these hats, except for the diamond ridges hat, are baby shower gifts. It’s insane how many people are expecting (including myself). Tis’ the season!
