I’ve been staying pretty busy with all of the crochet projects and other holiday related crafts that I have on my to-do list.
I’m getting closer and closer to my goal of $1,000. It’s kind of a bitter sweet moment, because I’m still trying to figure out what to do after I reach my goal. Find a new place to donate? Keep donating to the same place? Find a different cause? I’m sure I’ll come up with something, and thankfully, I’ve still got a little more time.
The orders that I’ve received lately are as follows:
A Clarice hat
Another penguin hat
A Rudolph hat
This went to the winner of a silent blog auction one of my friends put on. She won a Christmas hat of her choice, and she picked Rudolph.
I mad another Clarice hat, along with a Gingerbread Girl hat for my sister. Her little girl needed some Christmas hats, so I was happy to oblige! She wanted the Gingerbread hat with ear flaps and I really like how it turned out.
And this next hat I made I was really happy with how it turned out. An Air Force friend ordered this for his brother who has a new little baby. They are Arizona wildcat fans.
I have other orders as well…but it being the Christmas season, I didn’t want to post those just yet and ruin any surprises. Just know they are pretty sweet.
A friend of mine from middle school and high school ordered hats for her brother’s entire family and they are all tied into a theme. They were really fun to make. And some other family friends ordered a bunch of fun hats too.
More to come later… So for now: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
