Halloween Hat Pattern - Mr. Bones

We're on to the third Halloween hat pattern. Today I'm sharing the Mr. Bones pattern.


Materials Needed:
I hook (5.5mm)
Yarn needle
Scissors
Yarn (white and black)

6-12 mo.
with white, make a magic circle
Rnd 1: ch 2, 10 dc into ring, join (10 dc)
Rnd 2: ch 2, 2 dc in each st, join (20 dc)
Rnd 3: ch 2, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st, rep from * around, join (30 dc)
Rnd 4: ch 2, *2 dc in next st, dc in next 2 st, rep from * around, join (40 dc)
Rnd 5: ch 2, *2 dc in next st, dc in next 3 st, rep from * around, join (50 dc)
Rnd 6: ch 2, *2 dc in next st, dc in next 24 st, rep from * around, join (52 dc)
Rnd 7-13: ch 2, dc in each st around, join (52 dc)
Rnd 14: ch 1, sc in each st around, join and tie off (52 sc)
Sew in loose ends

Eyes (make 2):
with black, make a magic circle
Rnd 1: ch 2, 8 hdc into ring, join (8 hdc)
Rnd 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in each st, join (16 hdc)
Rnd 3: ch 2, *2 hdc in next st, hdc in next st, rep from * around, join and tie off (24 hdc)
with white yarn and yarn needle stitch a pupil on each black circle.
Attach to hat.

For the nose and mouth I used my yarn needle and black yarn. You can be creative and mix it up by stitching a different mouth if you want!
