I have a goal of raising at least $1,000 and I am officially one tenth of the way there!
I thought it would be fun to post some photos of the items I’ve sold so far.
My first two orders came from a pair of sisters. The really funny thing is that they ordered basically the same exact hat without knowing what the other had ordered. The only difference was the size.
My next order was for a pair of adult Mary Janes. I didn’t have any patterns for adult sizes, but a friend from high school asked if I would make her some, and supplied a pattern she found on the web. They are super cute on feet and comfy too.
Also, just recently I sold a pair of baby Mary Jane’s to a friend up here in AK. She is going to a baby shower for a friend this coming weekend so I threw in a cute headband to match.
My first “big” order came from a friend who is a professional photographer. You can check her site out here. She actually took my brother’s engagements recently and coming up soon will be taking some photos of my little man and his adorable cousin. Yay!
I really had a fun time making the hats she ordered. She’ll be using them for photography props, so two of the three hats she ordered are gender neutral with a removable flower. I really like how they turned out.
The last hat she ordered was a Texas Longhorn Baseball cap. I thought it was so awesome that she wanted this hat because my family LOVES the Texas Longhorns. I might just need to make one for each of my family members. 🙂
